The weirdest phobias

This world is so mysterious that it may strike our imagination with a great number of things we could never imagine. There are animals of such interesting look that one wonders how it was possible to create such beauty, or otherwise, nature creates the ugliest creatures one could ever imagine. The same with phenomena that occur in our life, those may be of different kinds and nature. Life provides us with great variety of feelings and emotions we are able to feel under influence of the most unbelievable factors.

Phobias are also phenomena of our life, those are results of the activity of our psychic and they may be of different kinds. There are phobias typical only for men or only for women, there are phobias that are typical for children or teenagers or adult, there are fears that are typical only for certain people of certain country. Everything in our life differs according to the variety of perception of this world.

So, it is interesting to find out what phobias are the most rare and weird of all known. We may start this list with abluthophobia – the fear for washing up. One may say it is impossible but it is possible. There are people who fall into panic fear resulted simply with thought that they have to take a bath or shower. Sure, they don't remain stinky and dirty as that will make their life terrible, they do take a shower and wash up but it takes a lot of strength and courage to perform such simple activity.

There is such weird phobia as a fear for wheat fields. Psychologists are not able to find reasonable explanation for this phenomena but it does exists. Moreover, it is not the single instance as agrophobia is registered at official list of phobias. Another weird phobia is apairophobia. It is a panic fear for eternity, rather interesting and senseless fear. Is it possible for one to be afraid of thing or phenomenon he or she will never face, will never see or feel? How is it possible for someone to face with the eternity if all of us are mortal?

You may not believe but there are people, who are afraid of clouds. This phobia is called nefophobia and has no reasonable ground for its appearance. Psychologists made a great number of researches of humans' psychic and analyses of their childhood but failed to find anything: answer or at least clue for answer. There are criminals, who can't imagine their life without criminal activity and there are those, who always keep within the law. Though, there are those who are afraid that they may perform criminal activity. This phobia is called crimephobia and it is rather weird for that fact that person, who suffers with this phobia, is not afraid of criminal but they are afraid that they are able to perform something criminal.

It is impossible to describe all of the weird phobias as there are a great number of those: fear for long words (hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia), fear for life (zoiphobia), fear for suffer from phobia or even fear for not suffer from phobia, fear for vomiting in public, fear for high buildings, fear of standing or sitting, fear for mirrors or talking on phone.
